Project Manager - Woodhouse Restorations Division
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with proven success in the disaster restoration industry. We welcome applicants to bring their experience and top-notch abilities to our organization.
Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and timely estimates as well as participating in contract negotiations and contract exchange on successful bids
-
Respond and direct emergency response requirements as needed
-
Acquire, supplement, and maintain sub contractors as needed
-
Ensure sub contractor and supplier pricing is competitive while maintaining a consistently high standard
-
Meet project budgets
-
Organize all paperwork associated with each project in a timely and professional manner
-
Prepare and present project schedules to the project stakeholders when required
-
Manage several projects simultaneously
-
Ensure all facets of the project meet governmental regulations
-
Work with management, business development or independently to initiate, build, and maintain client relations
-
Key player in the after-hours response team and ensures availability in times of high volume or catastrophe requirements

Update and ensure accuracy of weekly & monthly reports
Skills and Qualifications:

Proven success in the industry with a minimum 3-year track record in conjunction with related construction estimating and project management experience

Experience in all forms of residential, commercial, and multiple residence dwellings
-
Knowledge in Environmental solutions as they apply to construction applications
-
Foster Teamwork – Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness

Restoration Technician - Woodhouse Restorations Division
We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Mitigation Technician with proven success in the disaster restoration or emergency response industry. We welcome applicants to bring their experience and top-notch abilities to our organization.
Responsibilities:

Respond to water and fire damage emergencies
-
Lead remediation and water extraction
-
Assist with demolition as needed (demolition)
-
Equipment setup, monitoring, and removal
-
Cleaning structures and contents to remove soot, water, mold, and other damage
-
Assist in contents relocation in preparation for repair/rebuild
-
Administration of production systems and supporting documentation as required
-
Update production team and Project Coordinator/Manager of changes
-
Communicate effectively with clients when required
-
Other duties as assigned

Ability to lead a crew while ensuring safety and efficiency within the team

Ability to adapt to a variety of residential and commercial environments

Maintain a high level of professionalism

Commercial Property Administrator - Woodhouse Group, Real Estate Division
Woodhouse Group Inc. is a multi-faceted real estate and construction company based in Kitchener, Ontario. Our Real Estate Division manages assets of real property in various categories. Our portfolio includes multi-use commercial, residential, and industrial properties. We specialize in acquiring under-utilized property and converting the use of such property to maximize the utility and revenue potential. Learn more about our Real Estate Division here.
We are looking for a motivated and organized Commercial Property Administrator to join our team and help manage our portfolio of commercial and multi-family properties.
The Commercial Property Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the properties, including tenant relations, maintenance, leasing, accounting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in property management, excellent communication and customer service skills, and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
As a Commercial Property Administrator, you will:

Coordinate with tenants, contractors, and vendors to ensure the properties are well-maintained and compliant the health and safety standards

Process rent payments, invoices, and other financial transactions
-
Prepare and maintain lease agreements, contracts, and other documents
-
Conduct market research and analysis to support leasing and marketing strategies
-
Generate and update monthly and quarterly reports on property performance and budgets
-
Handle tenant inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
-
Perform site visits and inspections as needed
-
Organizing and updating SharePoint directory
-
Liaison between Real Estate and Finance Teams
-
Travel to off site meetings approximately 1 time a week

Other duties as needed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

A diploma or degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial property management or administration
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office365
-
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to commercial real estate
-
Attention to detail and accuracy
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Valid Class G2 or G driver's license in good standing and reliable transportation
-
Experience with Yardi and other Real Estate Software (considered an asset)
-
Complete a criminal record check
